About Me

I spent a year working on my wedding, thinking at the beginning that I was going to do it all myself. I had worked on parties for several nonprofits so I thought i could handle it. Several proclaimations "I guess we weren't meant to have a ceremony!" later I learned that I needed help.

I was in a new town in a new state miles, even states, from any of my friends and bridal party. I didn't know how or where to start, and reading books on how to plan a wedding was not working. It took some time and several bridezilla minor moments before I calmed down and started to see the way. One 3 1/2 inch planning binder i made myself and I began to enjoy the work of creating my own invitations and creating silk floral arrangements. I even went a step overboard and made my own series of thank you cards for wedding gifts.

After several friends and family admired my work I thought I would try to share my help. With either help getting started or just doing the handmade things that just don't fit into the schedule easily. (like spending 3 days making handmade paper program fans for the wedding, but they came out beautiful) Please take a look at the samples and email me with any ideas you may have and Ican see what I can do.

Thank you,

Kaylee Meyer
